The Vision of Hope Health, Beauty and Longevity Program that I participated in has been one of the best gifts and one of the most important and beneficial decisions I’ve ever made for myself.

During the program I had so much energy. The detoxing, cleansing, and various therapies, as well as eating the wonderfully prepared juices and raw food meals all contributed so much to a whole new sense of wellbeing. In 2002 I was diagnosed with malignant tumors in my breast and ovaries. My doctor suggested surgery right away. I attended the program at Vision of Hope and the tumors have disappeared. Thank God this is my 8th year in remission.

For the last nine years I have been treated for Cirrhosis of the liver, a condition that was only getting worse with the years. After being treated by many specialists I was finally told that I needed a liver transplant in order to save my life. In 2007 my condition became unmanageable so I was hospitalized and began preparing to die because we could not find a donor. In 2008 I was recommended to visit the Instituto Vision of Hope in Mexico and so I did. I embraced the various therapies and by September 2008 I had completed the 21-day program. To my surprise, the fluid that had been collecting in my belly disappeared, this time without draining it, and the jaundice that kept me looking very yellow also disappeared. I started recovering my strength to the point that I could walk around daily. I went back home and by the end of October I returned to the Institute for two more weeks of treatment. During this time my health improved even more. After returning home I went to the hospital for some tests. The doctors told me that all of the results were good. So instead of having to return for check-ups every month they began scheduling them 6 months apart. They also removed my name from the organ donor waiting list. Today in 2010 I am so thankful to God and the Vision of Hope team for this second chance to live.

As a diabetic, I was concerned about putting honey in our teas and hot toddies. But, I was pleasantly surprised that the program actually lowered my blood glucose level by 20 points, and I have been able to keep this level after returning home. It also stabilized the ups and downs of my glucose levels. Also, the program has motivated me to eat more raw vegetables and even enjoy them. Thanks to the doctors and staff.

I went to the clinic with many health issues, but the most critical and serious was my chronic, four-year bladder infection of Proteus. The doctors in the States only gave me antibiotics, which worked for the moment but the infection kept coming back. The bacteria became resistant to the medication, and my colon was in desperate need of flora replacement. After the 21 day program, the infection has finally gone away, surprisingly without the use of antibiotics. I will be forever thankful to the doctors at the institute.
